The Artist - Joseph Nardone
Design has always been at the very heart of me. Even as a kid I was rearranging the furniture, shopping for home decor and setting the table as if the Duke and Duchess were coming to dinner. For my 16th birthday I begged my parents for an antique brass hall tree. You know, like every kid.
Always the go-to guy for which paint colors work, what chair goes where or what plant to plant, creating beautiful surroundings was always a personal obsession and occupation for me.
Following a robust career in international marketing, I put my innate creative talents and business acumen to work in 'another' design field. After working with renowned designers, I soon hung my own shingle and created Nardone Home & Garden, LLC in 2012. A solid network served me well as word of mouth and referrals have sustained the success of my new business and thankfully I haven’t had a minute to look back since—or polish that brass hall tree.
Today, I continue to enjoy helping clients across the map rediscover the beauty around them literally from the inside out. From full interior renovations to simple makeovers, to outdoor living and landscapes. Restoring historic landmarks to building new dreams from the ground up, from penthouse to lake house, restaurants and offices, to the Convention Center, I've done it and love it all.
I remain honored and humbled to be invited into my client’s lives and am passionate about each and every project. There’s truly nothing more gratifying for me than seeing someone’s face light up when they see their space transformed.
Designing your home shouldn’t be an intimidating or overwhelmingly cost-prohibitive process, either. I promise I won’t enter your door waving my hands in disgust and sending your furniture away, guilting you into an uncomfortable trendy chair. And not everyone has a bottomless budget. But everyone has a desire for beautiful living.
I continue to find inspiration from the legacy artists and designers who came before us and created the trends the first time around. Not that there isn’t room for 'new,' I actually enjoy mixing old and new, adding fresh life to genuinely old pieces with a history in a new space. Keeping it all real and authentic and finding the 'just right' materials is what it's about—it's all in the details, and they matter. Artwalk Design is a natural fit for me with their unique and vast offerings.
While I may obsess about the colors and textures of your fabrics and flowers like no one else, at the end of the day I’m mostly obsessed about what feels right for you. My collaborative approach and classic style will keep your home grounded in a timeless elegance, ultimately reflecting your life and your story.
